The NEWSAR Clwydian Fell Race sponsored by [Running Bear] is held annually and is a 10-mile race with 3,100ft of ascent, over the clwydian hills, which includes the summit of Mole Famau.
To take part in this event the basic gear requirements are:
Full body waterproof cover.
Map.
Compass and whistle.
There Will Be Gear Checks.
