Fundraising - How Can You Help NEWSAR

All team members are volunteers and we do not receive any payment for providing this service to the Police.

It costs approximately £15,000 a year to run the Team – this covers fuel and repairs for our vehicles, pagers and protective equipment for team members, training courses, team equipment such as ropes, stretchers etc.

As NEWSAR is a Registered Charity and is entirely self-funding, the majority of this money is raised through street collections but we do have a number of current initiatives.

Organising or assis with a fundraising events.

Donate a piece of equipment to the Team.

Host a Collection Box.

Arranging for us to come and talk to your organisation.

Join The 200 Club

Pay £12 a year for the chance of winning up to £100 every Month

Join our ‘200 Club’, pay £1 for a ‘number’ each month to be entered into a monthly draw with the winner receiving 50% of the total funds, up to £100

The remainder of the funds will be donated to NEWSAR to assist with its voluntary activities.

Payment accepted, via half yearly or annual cheque or via Monthly or Quarterly Standing Order

NEWSAR Balloon Race

Take part in our NEWSAR Balloon Race, held annually at the [LLangollen Hot Air Balloon Festival] for the opportunity to win £50, for the balloon that travels the furthest. [2006 Results 822 miles] [2007 Results 233 miles] [2008 Results 178 Miles]
