NEWSAR Balloon Race 2006 - Winning balloon travelled 822 miles to Hessen in Germany

19/11/06 Thanks very much to the shoppers at Broughton Shopping Park who donated £482.31 at our collection this weekend.
18/11/06 Thanks very much to Paul H and Diane who organised a Barn Dance for members of Nexus on behalf of the Team. The event raised £406.22
15/11/06 Thank you very much to the Boys Brigade in Llangollen who raised £150 for the Team at a coffee morning held over the October half term. Unfortunately their talk from the Team Leader was interrupted due to a call out but will be rearranged in the New Year.
08/11/06 Thanks very much to the family and friends of John Clifford Davies who collected £500 for the Team at his funeral. His son Mark is a Team member.

Thanks very much to the Cooperative Community Award for donating £500 to buy Cas Care books.

28/10/06 Thanks very much to the people of Wrexham. Our collection day there raised £371.83.
27/10/06 Thanks very much to the customers at the White Horse in Cilcain. Their collection box raised £15.17 for us.
26/10/06 Thanks very much to the friends and family of Thomas Czachur who collected £757.12 for the Team at his funeral. This money will go towards purchasing water safety equipment for the Team in his name.
26/10/06 Congratulations to Kate and Damon who have been made up to Full Team Members and to Adrian P, Wyn, Martin T, Simon, Heather, Harriet, Gareth and Richard who have all been accepted as Trainee Members.
