CALLOUT: Elderly man missing from Mynydd Isa
The team was called this morning with regard to a search for a missing elderly gentleman in the Mynydd Isa area. As we were starting to deploy the good news came in that he had been found a considerable distance away and identified as needing assistance by a member of the public, who then called the Police. Two things from this are worth noting. 1. If you see someone you think is in distress, call the police. You never know what a difference you may make. 2. If you, or someone you know, is living with dementia, consider completing a Herbert Protocol form and keep it somewhere safe – the information contained on these forms can make a massive difference in the initial response to missing person enquiries for those with dementia. https://www.north-wales.police.uk/…/stay-s…/herbert-protocol
