Casualty Care Exam

On Saturday, 12 candidates from NEWSAR, Aberdyfi Search & Rescue Team and Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team came to NEWSAR's base to be examined for their casualty care certificate. Passing the exam involves an intensive training programme, followed by a rigorous set of practical tests and a written paper. Those that pass can then provide a high level of care to casualties in the field. We enjoyed a high pass rate and the candidates will be heading to a hill near you soon.
