CALLOUT - Injured Mountain Biker at World's End 07.07.26
On Tuesday evening, the team was requested by North Wales Police to assist a mountain biker who had taken a fall on the moorland between Llandegla and World's End. Following confirmation of the casualty's location using Sarloc Rescue PhoneFind, team members were deployed to assess and treat the casualty. On Saturday, the team was requested by North Wales Police , on behalf of Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust , to assist at an incident involving a kayaker on the River Dee near Llangollen. Working alongside North Wales Fire and Rescue Service / Gwasanaeth Tân ac Achub Gogledd Cymru and Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust , it was agreed that the fire service would manage the in-water rescue, with NEWSAR supporting the landside recovery and casualty extra


CALLOUT - Medical episode on Moel Famau 03.07.26
On Friday afternoon, the team was requested by Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust to assist a teenager who had suffered a medical episode on Moel Famau. Several team members were quickly deployed while the remainder of the team were placed on standby in case a stretcher evacuation was required.
