On Thursday, the team was requested by North Wales Police to assist after Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust requested our support for a lady who had fallen and sustained a hip injury. On 10th August, the team was requested by North Wales Police to assist a walker who had sustained an ankle injury near Castell Dinas Bran. A forward party quickly made their way to the casualty, where the injury was assessed. Pain relief was given and the injured leg was splinted before the casualty was carefully evacuated from the hill using a stretcher and wheel. As the team was assembling at the rendezvous point, further information was received indicating that the walker had made contact with family and was making their way towards a place of safety.
