CALLOUT - Missing person in Flintshire 17.04.06
In the early hours of this morning, we were contacted by @northwalespolice regarding a high-risk missing teenager. While travelling, one of our team members did exactly what we train for — beginning to search even before reaching the designated RV. Thanks to this proactive approach, he located the missing person and we were able to coordinate with Police, who safely took her into their care. CALLOUT - Incident in Llanddulas area. 13.04.26
On Monday morning we were contacted by North Wales Police requesting our services with an incident in the Llanddulas area. We would like to thank our colleagues from Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust , North Wales Fire and Rescue Service / Gwasanaeth Tân ac Achub Gogledd Cymru and North Wales Police for their support in this multi agency response Our thoughts are with the young person's family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.


CALLOUT - Lower leg Injury in the Berwyns. 08.04.26
On Wednesday 8th April, we were contacted by North Wales Police requesting assistance for a female walker who had fallen in the Berwyns and sustained a lower leg injury. Team members made their way to the casualty; however, due to the distance and difficulty of the extraction, Coastguard assistance was requested to carry out a winch evacuation. CALLOUT - Dog stuck on ledge in Denbigh 06.04.26
On Monday afternoon, the team was contacted by North Wales Police to assist with an incident at a quarry near Denbigh. A dog had become stuck on a ledge, with access proving difficult due to the terrain and locked gates. Team members were deployed, forward control was established, and arrangements were made to gain access to the site. Incidents like this can sometimes lead to owners putting themselves at risk in an attempt to help, and our role is to assist in preventing situ

Callout 2 of 4 On Saturday afternoon, we were contacted by @northwalespolice following reports of a female casualty who had fallen down a steep slope at Wepre Park. The casualty had come to rest approximately halfway down the slope, wedged against a tree, and was suffering from a significant leg injury. @welshambulanceservice were already on scene providing pain relief and treatment. CALLOUT - Fallen Mountain Biker at Llandegla 01.03.26
On Sunday afternoon we were contacted by @northwalespolice requesting our assistance with a fallen mountain biker in the west area of Llandegla. @welshambulanceservice were already on scene and providing patient care. Our team carried out a stretcher extraction using a specialist stretcher wheel system with a back-up rope. This allowed the casualty to be moved smoothly and safely over the uneven terrain. We then handed over to WAST and supported the transfer to Wales Air Ambu


CALLOUT - Fallen Climber at Pothole Quarry 08.02.26
On Sunday morning we were asked by @northwalespolice to assist a female climber who had taken a fall at Pothole Quarry. With a meeting already taking place at base, a team was able to deploy quickly and arrived on scene in around 25 minutes. After making the area safe, the team carried out a casualty assessment before rigging a rope system to lower her to the ground on a stretcher. From there she was evacuated to the road where an ambulance crew was already waiting. Great tea


CALLOUT - Quad bike incident at Bwlch Penbarras 21.03.26
Callout 1 of 4 On Saturday morning, we were contacted by @northwalespolice to assist with the extraction of a casualty following a quad bike incident, located near Bwlch Penbarras. @welshambulanceservice and EMERTS were already on scene providing treatment. After receiving pain relief, the casualty was carefully transferred onto a vacuum mattress and stretcher, then using a rope system, he was safely lowered down the hillside to our team vehicle, before being transported back
CALLOUT - Casualty extraction at Worlds End 06.01.26
This afternoon, we were contacted by the North Wales Police , following a request from North Wales Fire , to see if we could support with a casualty extraction from an RTC at Worlds End. We confirmed we could assist and mobilised the team. Access to the area proved challenging due to road conditions, with several planned rendezvous points needing to change as new information came in. Despite this, multiple vehicles and team members made their way out in difficult conditions.
CALLOUT - People stranded in the Berwyns 20.12.25
On Saturday afternoon the team was tasked following a report of a small group who had become stranded on a remote route in the Berwyns. Using local knowledge of track conditions, a small team was deployed in two vehicles while others remained on standby at a nearby RV.
