CALLOUT - Injured Mountain Biker at World's End 07.07.26

On Tuesday evening, the team was requested by North Wales Police to assist a mountain biker who had taken a fall on the moorland between Llandegla and World's End.

Following confirmation of the casualty's location using Sarloc Rescue  PhoneFind, team members were deployed to assess and treat the casualty. Fortunately, despite sustaining a significant leg injury, the casualty reported no other injuries.

After treatment on scene, the casualty was transferred by stretcher to the roadside using the team's new stretcher wheel before being handed over to the waiting ambulance for onward travel to hospital.

Very apt that the new wheel's first operational outing was to assist a mountain biker, and we're pleased to report it coped brilliantly with the challenging terrain, making it a fantastic addition to the team's equipment.
