Diocese’s charity for 2026/2027

Team members attended the St Asaph Diocese Conference on Saturday, having been selected as the Diocese’s charity for 2026/2027.

This fantastic opportunity will see churches across the local area raising funds to support our team and the vital work we do helping people in need across North East Wales and beyond.

Team members attended the conference to give an insight into NEWSAR, explaining what we do, the areas we cover and how our volunteers support people in emergency situations. We also enjoyed answering questions from members and sharing more about the work that goes on behind the scenes to keep our team operational and ready to respond when called upon.

We are incredibly grateful to the Diocese for selecting NEWSAR and to all the churches and individuals who will be supporting us throughout the coming year. A huge thank you to everyone involved for their warm welcome and generous support!
