CALLOUT -Hip Injury 17 09 26
On Thursday, the team was requested by North Wales Police to assist after Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust requested our support for a lady who had fallen and sustained a hip injury.
NEWSAR quickly deployed to the casualty site, with team members coordinating the response and bringing the necessary equipment.
The casualty had been assessed and treated by the WAST crew. NEWSAR then assisted with a short carry using the stretcher and wheel to safely move her to the waiting ambulance for onward treatment.
A big thank you to everyone who responded, offered to assist or made their way to the incident. Excellent teamwork between NEWSAR and WAST helped ensure the casualty was safely transferred into the care of the ambulance crew.
We wish the casualty a full and speedy recovery.
