On 9th August, the team was requested by North Wales Police to assist a walker who had sustained an injury following a fall and was also experiencing chest pain.

Once the casualty's location had been established, it became clear that she was some distance from the nearest road and required assistance as quickly as possible. Working alongside North Wales Police and Maritime and Coastguard Agency R336, a plan was put in place to get the casualty to appropriate medical care as quickly as possible.

Coastguard R336 was able to land relatively close to the casualty but required assistance from NEWSAR to stretcher her to the helicopter and safely load her on board.

A great team effort, with excellent multi-agency working helping to ensure the casualty was safely transferred into the care of Coastguard R336 for onward medical treatment.

We wish the casualty a full and speedy recovery.
