CALLOUT - Missing Walker in Glyn Ceiriog. 04 08 26

On the evening of 4th August, the team was requested by North Wales Police to assist with the search for a missing walker in the hills above Glyn Ceiriog.

As the team was assembling at the rendezvous point, further information was received indicating that the walker had made contact with family and was making their way towards a place of safety. A short time later, North Wales Police confirmed that the walker had been located safe and well, allowing the team to be stood down before any searches were required.

Although the incident concluded before the team was deployed onto the hill, we'd like to thank everyone who responded so quickly and was prepared to assist at short notice.

We're pleased this incident had a positive outcome, with the walker found safe and well.
