Airbus Yorkshire 3 Peaks – final total

A MASSIVE THANK YOU

to Broughton Airbus employees, along with their family and friends, who completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on the 4th September. We can now announce that the walkers raised an amazing £5,900 towards our new Incident Control Vehicle project!

The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is 24 miles (38.6km) and includes 1585m (5,200ft) of ascent. Walkers accompanied by NEWSAR volunteers completed the route over Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in well under 12 hours. These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Congratulations to everyone involved!!
