Go Outdoors, Chester

Thanks to Go Outdoors Store Manager Peter Burton for inviting us along on Saturday to the grand re-opening of the Saltney, Chester store. Peter is pictured left with our Team Secretary Mandy.

Peter explained that he "...realises the importance of the work Mountain Rescue does, so I wanted to invite you down to strengthen the partnership between our business and your volunteering." Thanks Peter! The event was very well attended with queues around the car park when the store was opened at 9AM. Blue Peter, Countryfile and Strictly star Helen Skelton came along and was introduced to team members. Of course, some of the team couldn't resist a go on the climbing tower!

Many of the visitors popped along to our stand too and very generously donated or bought some of our branded items. We will update this post with the total raised.
