Today we celebrate United Nations International Volunteers Day.

NEWSAR is a 100% volunteer organisation, no one is paid. We give our time freely to assist others in all sorts of situations; from "classic" Mountain Rescue, helping injured and ill walkers and climbers; searches for missing persons; or rescue from floods and snow.
