Volunteers Week 2016 – Meet Paul S

10th June

The latest of our volunteers to introduce themselves for Volunteers Week is Training Officer and operational Team Member Paul S:

Aged 65.

Is retired but was formerly a Royal Marines Commando and Police Officer.

Has been a team member for  three years.

Paul was previously a member of a mountain rescue team in Cumbria and joined NEWSAR after moving to North Wales.

Says the best thing about volunteering with NEWSAR is getting out to play in the hills with a great bunch of people.

A non-NEWSAR fact about Paul is that he plays several musical instruments and has even been paid to play in front of an unsuspecting public!
