44/12 – Call out to lost person in the Ruthin area

On the evening of Saturday 20th October 2012 the team was contacted to assist with the search for a person lost in woods in the dark.

As with the call out this afternoon (43/12) we were lucky that a team member was in the area and was able to locate the missing person quite quickly based on an understanding of their expected route.

Other Team members were en-route to the location if this initial hasty search had not been successful.

The missing person was returned to their vehicle and the rest of the team was stood down at 21:31.
