The busy start to 2012 has continued with incident 5/12 on Friday night, then on Saturday we searched another set of areas relating to incident 3/12.  On Sunday night we had another call in the Holywell area (6/12) and on Monday night a call in the Buckley area (7/12).

6/12 Sunday 22/1/2012

Late on Sunday evening North Wales Police called out the team to search for a missing person in the Holywell area.

The team mobilised two vehicles, two search managers and searchers to the area where the missing person was last seen.

Parties of volunteer searchers from NEWSAR were deployed into a number of likely areas and located the missing person in the early hours of Monday morning.

7/12 Monday 23/1/2012

Late on Monday evening North Wales Police called out the team to search for a missing person in the Buckley area.

The full team was mobilised and the NEWSAR search manager drove to the scene to find out more information from the Police and informant.  When they arrived in the vicinity of the last known position the NEWSAR search manager saw someone matching the description of the missing person and was able to identify that they were indeed who we were looking for.  The rest of the team was then stood down while enroute to the search area.
