A busy night for the team
NEWSAR team members assisted North Wales Police with two separate searches for missing persons last night.
The first involved a man in the Rhyl area, reported missing last night. A NEWSAR Search Manager provided assistance. A multi agency search was carried out and the missing person was located this morning.
The second search was for a man who had gone walking in the hills surrounding the Ceiriog Valley on Wednesday. Team members covered large parts of the hills and were assisted by a Search and Rescue helicopter and crew from “C” Flight, 22 Squadron, RAF Valley. The missing person was found while making their way back off the hills after daylight returned.
