Callout 1/6/14
NEWSAR team members were called out on Sunday afternoon to assist with locating four overdue young people involved in a Duke of Edinburgh expedition in the Clwydian Hills. They were found soon after we deployed. The youngsters were all well equipped and had just taken some wrong turns. All part of the adventure for them, but a bit worrying for the leader that was waiting to meet them. It’s great to see young people out gaining new skills in the outdoors and stretching themselves.
