CALLOUT 14/22: Separated canoeists

The THIRD call of the day came in this evening when two canoeists became separated from their group, while in the region of a weir. They were on the Afon Efyrnwy south east of Llyn Efyrnwy. Due to the potentially very serious nature of the incident, members of Aberdyfi Search & Rescue Team and South Snowdonia Search & Rescue Team also sent water rescue personnel to the incident. Fortunately the two missing people managed to get back in touch with the main group and confirmed they were some distance down stream, but unhurt. We were very relieved to get this news.
