Callout 3 of 4
Within minutes of completing Callout 2 and still on scene packing kit in Wepre Park, we were contacted by @northwalespolice requesting our assistance at Trevor Rocks (more than 20miles away), following reports of a teenager who had become crag fast—meaning they were stuck on steep or rocky ground, unable to safely move up or down.
After assessing the situation, a team member quickly made their way to the base of the cliff where they made contact with the teenager. While the rest of the team arrived with kit for the extraction they did an excellent job of providing reassurance and calming them, as they were understandably shaken.
A rope system was promptly set up, and the team safely extracted the casualty back to secure ground. Thankfully, there were no injuries—just a fright.
Another example of great teamwork from all involved.

I’ve been trying to learn more about different ways to manage rheumatoid arthritis, and I found this article https://ways2well.com/blog/rheumatoid-arthritis-and-stem-cells-modern-therapies that breaks down the idea of stem cell therapy in a way that’s actually easy to follow. It doesn’t just throw confusing jargon at you — it talks about how the therapy might help reduce inflammation and support joint tissue repair, which sounds more hopeful than just treating pain. Definitely worth a look if you’re curious about newer medical approaches.
