On Saturday morning, we were contacted by @northwalespolice to assist with the extraction of a casualty following a quad bike incident, located near Bwlch Penbarras.
@welshambulanceservice and EMERTS were already on scene providing treatment.
After receiving pain relief, the casualty was carefully transferred onto a vacuum mattress and stretcher, then using a rope system, he was safely lowered down the hillside to our team vehicle, before being transported back uphill to a waiting land ambulance.
A big thank you to all our volunteers who gave up their time to assist and we wish the casualty a speedy recovery
