CALLOUTS - A busy few days 11.06.26

It has been a busy few days for NEWSAR, with two callouts on each of a couple of days this week.
All callouts involved assisting Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust (WAST) with the extraction of patients from challenging locations, with WAST providing the primary patient care at each incident.
The first task involved supporting a medical incident and extracting a casualty from a steep wooded area, followed by a second extraction from a quarry. NEWSAR then assisted North Wales Police and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service / Gwasanaeth Tân ac Achub Gogledd Cymru with a rope-system extraction from a gully at a road traffic collision. The final callout involved helping to access and extract a casualty with a lower leg injury in difficult terrain.
NEWSAR is a completely voluntary team, and we are proud to support our emergency service partners.

Our team of volunteers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days responding to those in need throughout Flintshire, Denbighshire, Wrexham & parts of Conwy & Powys.
