With all the sponsorship now in, we are pleased to report that a group of charity challenge walkers raised a total of £1,718.50 for NEWSAR, by taking on the 24 hour Welsh Three Peaks challenge in September. The team climbed Pen y Fan, Cadair Idris and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), walking a total of 17 miles (27.4 km), with an ascent of 2334 metres (7657 ft).

All 22 walkers completed the challenge well within the 24 hour cut off time

They also raised the same amount for MNDA.

Thank you to all the walkers, drivers and organisers, together with everyone who sponsored them and raised this fantastic sum!

Here's a small selection of photos from the day.
