Rescue of injured woman near Horseshoe Pass

North Wales Police called NEWSAR at 2:45pm on Wednesday 10th September with a request to assist the Welsh Ambulance Service to locate and evacuate an injured woman.

The woman, who is in her 30’s, was located near to the Horseshoe Pass, Llangollen. She had suffered a knee injury and could not walk.

NEWSAR volunteer team members put the casualty in a vacuum mattress and onto a stretcher before carrying her to the waiting Ambulance.   The evacuation was completed by 4:30pm.

The team wishes the casualty a speedy recovery!
