Sheeptracks Fell Race
Yesterday we provided first aid cover and some of the marshalling on the Sheeptracks fell race in the Clwydian hills. It’s a challenging event over 27Km of the central part of the range.
We had a sunny and unusually warm day which was uneventful apart from some cuts and bruises. Well done to everyone taking part in the event. The runners and members of the public donated several hundred pounds to the team, particularly through the donations for refreshments and buckets out on the hill at control points.
Special thanks to the NEWSAR Supporters who kept everyone fed and watered in Cilcain village hall.
