The Team has been out on a rescue near Moel Famau today to treat and evacuate a walker with a lower leg injury.  Our two Land Rovers were used to take volunteer Team members as close to the casualty site as we could get.  We used our specialist equipment and medical knowledge to treat the casualty and carry them back to the vehicles before a slow and careful descent to reach the road where we handed over our grateful walker to the Ambulance Service. The photo shows team members carrying the casualty in our specialist mountain stretcher as we neared the Land Rovers. We are all volunteers and rely on your donations to fund the equipment we use.
