CALLOUT: Following the opening of an inquest, we can now report that the team was called on the 15th March by North Wales Police to assist with the search for Mr Patrick Cahill. Initially SARDA Wales deployed two trailing dog teams who provided a suspected location. The location was confirmed by Police helicopter.

Due to the inaccessible position, team members then had to descend to the location using a rope rescue system. The team then recovered Mr. Cahill to the cliff top and handed over to the Police.

We offer our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Cahill.
