Six team members visited Glyndwr University in Wrexham this afternoon to collect a cheque for £275 after staff and students held a bake sale to raise money for NEWSAR, Sarda Wales and the RNLI, the three voluntary organisations who have assisted the police in the search for missing Flintshire man, Michael Murphy (www.helpfindmichaelmurphy.com).

We met Michael’s mum, Ann and his aunt, Peggy who had arranged the bake sale as a way of saying thank you for the time the three charities had given over the past month.

NEWSAR would like to say thanks to Ann, Peggy and the staff and students of Glyndwr for the generous donation.
