CALLOUT - injured person in Dyserth 03.01.24

CALLOUT

As our team members were heading home from our first call out, a second call came in from North Wales Police with a request to assist with the extraction of an injured person believed to have fallen from height in a quarry in the Dyserth area. National Police Air Service HQ located the injured person and a party of NEWSAR team members along with Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust and NWP made their way to the casualty to provide first aid in heavy wind and rain. Due to the difficult terrain, coastguard R936 was required to winch the casualty to hospital.

We wish our casualty a speedy recovery.

A very late finish for our

soggy volunteer team members who will have arrived home after 4am this morning.
