CALLOUT - Lost walker 28.12.24
On Saturday evening, we were contacted by North Wales Police to help with a walker who had become lost.
He was uninjured, warm, dry, had food and water, but only had a small amount of battery left on his phone.
The location given initially put him in our area, but further investigations put him in Ogwen Valley's area, so the callout was transferred to them, and the gentleman was located safe and well.
Food for thought - if you became lost, would you be able to provide your location?
When you go out, do you always have a fully charged phone?

Our team of volunteers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days responding to those in need throughout Flintshire, Denbighshire, Wrexham & parts of Conwy & Powys.
