CALLOUT 89/22: Mislaid walkers in the Berwyn Mountains.

At 2pm today Dyfed-Powys Police contacted the team to assist two walkers who were a bit mislaid in the Berwyn Mountains.

Unfortunately the phone signal was a bit ropey (as it so often is in the Berwyn Mountains) so we couldn't use our usual "phone wizardry" to pin point where they were.

But good old fashioned local knowledge came into play and our Team Leader worked out what they had done and was able to direct them back to the safety of the descent path. They then let us know they were down safely once they got phone signal again.

Two small groups went out to the area in Team Landrovers in case the walkers hadn't been able to follow the instructions.
