Callout to Ewloe area 22/10/2013

The team was called today by North Wales Police to assist the Welsh Ambulance Service with the extraction of an injured person from a difficult to reach location near Ewloe.

The casualty was carefully put into a NEWSAR stretcher and extracted from the difficult location before being carried a short distance to a waiting RAF Sea King helicopter.  One of the NEWSAR Doctors accompanied the patient in the helicopter on their journey to hospital.

Fifteen volunteer NEWSAR team members were in attendance for a little under two hours.
