A warm welcome to our new Trainees

Welcome to our new trainees! Meet Angela, Leanne, Rob and Amy. After nearly 2 years on our waiting list and many months of supporting the team during training and at different events, plus interviews with our team leaders, our 4 newest team members began their operational hill team training on Wednesday night, with basic life support training and assessments.

Over the next few months they will have training in navigation, search techniques, hazardous ground, water, communications and general mountain rescue skills before hopefully becoming full hill team members in 2026.

We wish them every success!

Our team of volunteers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days responding to those in need throughout Flintshire, Denbighshire, Wrexham & parts of Conwy & Powys.
