On Saturday night, our team was contacted by @northwalespolice to assist with the extraction of an injured female whose vehicle had left the road on the Horseshoe
Pass.
Upon arrival, the casualty received initial assessment and treatment from our colleagues at the @WelshAmbulanceServicesTrust, @northwalesfireandrescue, and the @EmergencyMedicalRetrievalandTransferService Following this, she was carefully placed onto our stretcher.
Using a rope system in conjunction with our wheeled stretcher, we safely transported the casualty to the roadside, where she was transferred for onward travel to the hospital.
We would like to thank all agencies involved for their professionalism and teamwork and to our team members who responded to this late-night callout, which extended into the early hours of Sunday morning.
Our team of volunteers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days responding to those in need throughout Flintshire, Denbighshire, Wrexham & parts of Conwy & Powys.
